CEO, Heritage Group

After working in the construction and education fields Laurence Joined Heritage Group in 1984. As the companies grew he helped build the operations team into one of the biggest and most effective in Canada. Taking on the role of CEO on 2008 his main focus remains that of working with the operations groups and to ensure exceptional customer service throughout all of the divisions.

Ross Wheatley

President, Heritage Office Furnishings

Ross Wheatley is the President and Partner at Heritage Office Furnishings based out of the Vancouver Head office. He joined Heritage in 1981 and has held a number of marketing related positions from general line sales through to his current position. Ross currently acts as a Director for the DVA and for IFMABC; the International Management Facility Management Association as well as being a member of the Vancouver Board of Trade Membership committee. Representing Heritage Office Furnishings and being a native Vancouverite, Ross is keenly interested in the successful development of our city from a social and economic point of view. Heritage Office Furnishings lives and breathes with the success of Vancouver and BC as a whole.

Kathryn Hermanson

VP-Finance & Administration, Heritage Group

Having had the privilege of being a part of the growth of the company for the last 31 years Kathy has grown up in the business, literally. Kathy’s position as Finance and Administration VP keeps her hands on with the day to day administration while focusing on the financial well being of the company. She is passionate about Heritage and its future and what she knows it can do for you our customer.

Liz Elliott

Director of Workplace Performance, Heritage Group

Liz Elliott was raised in Toronto, Ontario, where she attended Ryerson University. Liz graduated with a bachelor of Applied Arts, interior design, in 1983 and practiced in the profession for the next eleven years concentrating on corporate, retail and restaurant design projects. Liz held the position of Vice President of Toronto based Design Firm before heading to the shores of the West Coast in 1994.

Joining Heritage Office Furnishing in the role of corporate sales, furthered developed to her current position of Director of Workplace Performance. Liz's role spans from business development and marketing to creative product suggestions and application assistance for the Architect and Design community but is probably better known as the tour guide, event planner and social butterfly.

Dean Shaffi

General Manager, Heritage Office Furnishings Kamloops, B.C.

Dean graduated from Kamloops Sr. Secondary and attended 3 years at Thompson Rivers University (formerly known as Cariboo College). B.C. born and living in Kamloops for the past 20 years, Kamloops has become a home for Dean and his family.

Since the young age of 16 Dean has always been involved within Customer Services, helping ,assisting, and building a strong customer relationship . For the past 5 years that Dean has been with Heritage Office Furnishing he has taking a great pride in Delivering, Installing, Designing , and ultimately making sure Heritage’s customers have received the highest standard of Service that we at Heritage take pride in performing.

Wayne Cooney

President, Heritage Office Furnishing Kelowna

Wayne joined Heritage 21 years ago in our Vancouver office and transferred to the Okanagan operation three years later. His background includes Real estate sales and the Hospitality industry having owned and operated several Restaurants in his earlier years. As a managing partner he is responsible for sales and marketing of the Okanagan branch from Osoyoss to Cranbrook . In order to provide a high level of service to our customers throughout the province we are fortunate to have highly trained personnel in all of our locations. Wayne is extremely proud to work with such a dedicated group of individuals who constantly strive to improve our products and delivery of services. Al Borthwick

President, Heritage Hospitality Supply and Design Ltd.

Al’s background includes sawdust truck driver, meat cutter and supermarket executive with a family business. He joined H. H. S. & D. thirteen years ago as the Managing Partner and President.  Al is responsible for the day to day operations of the company and its ongoing success. Under his direction H.H.S. & D. has become one of the leading suppliers of furniture to the hotel industry and the number one supplier to the long-term care providers in British Columbia. Al’s forte is forming relationships with customers large and small and endeavoring to ensure their needs are being met.

Chris Kitteridge

Director of Sales and Marketing, Principal
Heritage Hospitality Supply and Design Ltd.

Chris began his career with Heritage Hospitality in 1998 as project sales manager. Since transitioning to his present role, Chris has undertaken responsibility for the development, implementation and achievement of Heritage Hospitality's sales and marketing objectives. Chris recognized early on the importance of global sourcing and initiated the companies shift to secure strong international supply chain partners essential to our growth.

Prior to working with Heritage, Chris was a commissioned officer with the Canadian military, he worked for several years with a major Canadian retailer in various managerial roles. Chris attended the University of Manitoba majoring in English. He has lived in Asia and the UK.

Rob Bruce

Service Manager, Heritage Office Furnishings Ltd.

Rob has over 26 years of experience in the Corporate and Home furnishings industry and during that time, using his many skills including that of cabinet making and millworker, to offer a wide range of maintenance & repair services through his skilled workforce. Rob has worked with Heritage for 20 years and enjoys the challenges of problem solving, and offering an excellent level of service to our customers.
