Do you excel at building positive relationships with clients and colleagues? If you answered yes, this might be the career for you! Heritage Office Furnishings is looking for a Retail Sales Specialist to work Tuesday-Friday 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.

 

Performance-based Objectives (Prioritized):

  • Maintain professional interactions with customers
  • Communicate aspects of sales cycle to clients
  • Monitor incoming requests and engage fellow sales for larger projects

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Interface with walk-in, call-in and email requests to answer any customer product questions
  • For “cash & carry” customer, write up Cash Sale form for processing
  • For pre-sold product:
    • Enter Hedberg quotations and submit to customer for approval
    • Ensure accurate order information such as site info, payment method, additional charges
    • Upon quote approval, submit Hedberg quote for conversion
    • Upon product delivery to site, complete customer follow up call
  • Assist with inventory management on new & used as required
  • Help clients navigate Steelcase online store
  • Assist with tender and RFP responses including writing and formatting
  • Create customer proposals and presentations

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 or Equivalent
  • Proficiency in Windows & Microsoft Office
  • Proven corporate or retail sales experience
  • Self motivated, interpersonal skills and a memorable sales demeanor
